Cavaliers back on track with big victory over Wizards

THE Cleveland Cavaliers quickly bounced back from their first loss of the season, venting their ire on the Wizards with a 105-94 victory on Friday in Washington (Saturday, Manila time).

LeBron James scored 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, while Kyrie Irving scored 29 as the Cavaliers notched their seventh win in eight games.

Kevin Love also had a double-double of 14 points and 16 rebounds, while JR Smith scored 17 for the Cavaliers.

The Wizards’ struggles continue, and they suffered their sixth loss in eight outings.

John Wall shot 12 for 24 and finished with 28 points, while Markieff Morris came up with 20 points.
