Cavaliers make it eight straight wins with rout of Sixers

THE Cleveland Cavaliers continued the fine run, downing the Sixers, 113-91, on Monday in Philadelphia (Tuesday, Manila time) to stretch the win streak to eight.

The Cavaliers rallied late in the first quarter for a 29-22 lead and held on, posting their 13th win in 20 outings.

LeBron James had 30 points, 13 rebounds and six assists, while Dwyane Wade scored 15 on 5 of 12 shooting.

Jeff Green had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Kevin Love scored 13.

The Sixers saw their win streak end at three.

Joel Embiid had 30 points and 11 rebounds, while Timothe Luwawu Cabarrot had 12 points off the bench for Philadelphia, which absorbed its eighth loss in 19 games.
