T'WAS the night before NBA Christmas, when the league dropped another tribute to honor the illustrious career of Kobe Bryant.

With Bryant set to retire after the season, the NBA came up with a mixtape of the Lakers guard's highlights from the Christmas Day games Bryant has played in.

The Lakers face off against the LA Clippers on Christmas Day (Saturday, Manila time), and Bryant is set to play on the league's holiday showcase for the 16th time, which is an NBA record.

That's not the only record Kobe owns on Christmas Day games. He's scored 383 points in 15 games he's played on Christmas, the most by any player. And he dropped a holiday-best 42 in a 2004 overtime loss to Miami.

Bryant will look to improve his losing record, 6-9, on Christmas Day, where he'll carry his career scoring average on the holiday of 25.5 points against the Clips. The Black Mamba has been playing well as of late, and even scored a season-high 31 against Denver on December 23.
