Klay Thompson hits clutch treys on the way to season-high 30 as Warriors rally to beat Suns

THE Golden State Warriors stepped up their game in the second half to turn back the Phoenix Suns, 133-120, on Sunday in Oakland (Monday, Manila time).

Klay Thompson hit two crucial triples in the fourth to give the Warriors control, and finished with a season-high 30 points.

Thompson made five of eight shots from beyond the arc, going 11 for 18 overall in 33 minutes of action.

Steph Curry matched Thmpson’s five triples and also scored 30, while Kevin Durant added 29 as the Warriors notched their fourth straight victory and seventh in nine games.

Six Suns scored in double figures, with Eric Bledsoe and TJ warren delivering 20 each.

Devin Booker added 19 points and Jared Dudley came off the bench to play 31 minutes and score 14 for Phoenix, which absorbed its eighth loss in 11 games.
