Love scores 38 as Cavs survive LeBron ejection, rip Heat to extend win streak to nine

KEVIN Love showed the way as the Cavaliers had a huge first half and cruised to victory over the Miami Heat, 108-97, on Tuesday in Cleveland (Wednesday, Manila time).

Cleveland scored 35 in the first quarter then 40 in the second en route to its ninth straight win and 14th in 21 outings.

Love wound up with 38 points, making 10 of 16 shots, including 4 of 8 from beyond the arc, in 25 minutes of action.

LeBron James had 21 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and five steals before being sent off on two technical fouls.

Dwyane Wade came off the bench to deliver 17 points on 8 of 16 shooting, while JR Smith scored 12.

The Heat saw their win streak end at three, suffering their 10th loss in 20 games.

Dion Waiters had 21 points, while Bam Adebayo scored 19 off the bench.
