NBA stars Kenneth Faried and Danny Green are also into this ‘pabebe’ thing right in their first trip to the country.

The Denver Nugget and San Antonio Spurs gunner gamely accommodated mediamen, photographers, and cameramen by doing the now-famous ‘pabebe’ wave made popular by Yaya Dub of Eat Bulaga fame upon arriving here on Thursday.

Faried and Green are in the country to attend the NBA 3X Philippine event at the Mall of Asia Music Hall from August 28 to 30.

The two NBA players will be on hand during the event, a 3-on-3 competition where players in the Under-13, Under-16, Under-18, and open categories for men and women see action.

Also attending the meet are the Golden State Warriors Dance Team and Philadelphia 76ers mascot Franklin as they provide entertainment to the crowd during the entire activities.

Aside from the other events, a celebrity division will also be played featuring Derek Ramsey, Mong Alcaraz, and Rio Dela Cruz.
