Kemba Walker, Marco Belinelli show way as Hornets beat struggling Mavericks

KEMBA Walker showed the way as the Charlotte Hornets defeated the lowly Mavericks, 109-101, on Monday in Dallas (Tuesday, Manila time).

Walker had 19 points in 35 minutes of action, while Marco Belinelli came off the bench to score 16 on 5 of 9 shooting as the Hornets bounced back a from loss to Minnesota Timberwolves.

Charlotte looks to get a win run going when it hosts the Detroit Pistons.

Nicolas Batum had a double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Jeremy Lamb also scored 14 off the bench for Charlotte, which notched its 12th win in 21 outings.

Harrison Barnes led the way anew for the Mavericks with 29 points.

Dallas is in the bottom of the Western Conference with 16 losses and only four wins.
