Big games from veterans Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker power Spurs past Nuggets

MANU Ginobili had a season-high 18 points, while Tony Parker matched the scoring output as the Spurs ripped the Denver Nuggets, 121-97, on Saturday in San Antonio (Sunday, Manila time).

The Spurs were in control throughout, outing the game away with a 35-22 third quarter.

Ginobili came off the bench to shoot 5 for 6 in just 10 minutes of play, while Parker went 8 for 8 in 23 minutes of action.

Kawhi Leonard had 19 points on 6 of 13 shooting as the Spurs scored their third straight win and 39th in 50 games.

The Nuggets could not get a win run going after beating the Milwaukee Bucks, and have lost three of the last four games.

Jamal Murray scored 20 off the bench while starting forward Nikola Jokic scored 11 for Denver, which absorbed its 28th loss in 50 games.
