Another 30-point game by Kawhi Leonard powers Spurs past Kings for second straight win

KAWHI Leonard again came up with a 30-point game as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Kings, 102-94, on Thursday in Sacramento (Friday, Manila time).

The 25-year-old forward played almost 35 minutes, making 11 of 21 field goal attempts and finishing with 30 markers, as the Spurs scored a huge follow-up to their opening-day win over powerhouse Golden State.

Leonard scored 35 points in the victory over the Warriors.

LaMarcus Aldridge added 16 points, while Dewayne Dedmon and David Lee had 12 points each for San Antonio.

The Spurs spoiled DeMarcus Cousins' 37 point game, as the Kings absorbed the loss after an opening-day win over the Phoenix Suns.

Rudy Gay scored 17 points and ben McLemore added 10 for Sacramento.
