JORDAN Clarkson has been doing a lot of work in the offseason and it looks like he's ready to make a big splash when he enters his third year in the NBA.

The Los Angeles Lakers guard showed his vastly improved shooting in a video posted on Twitter, where he made 15 straight shots from almost the halfcourt area. The clip was posted by Drew Hanlen, a coach/consultant of Strategic Skills who is working on improving Clarkson’s game.

This development in his outside stroke only bodes well for the 24-year old Filipino-American swingman who shot 31.5 and 34.7 percent from three-point distance in his first two years with the Lakers.

With last season's second overall pick D’Angelo Russell expected to play the role of point guard, the 6-4 Clarkson will see more time off the ball and can play the role as a designated shooter alongside promising rookie Brandon Ingram.

New Lakers coach Luke Walton has said that he will employ an offensive system that is similar to a perimeter-shooting Golden State Warriors team that posted an historic 73 win and nine loss record in the 2015-16 campaign, a squad that Walton guided to the longest winning streak to open a season in NBA history.
