Wizards stretch streak to three with rout of Nuggets

JOHN Wall scored 30 points and made 10 assists as the Washington Wizards defeated the Nuggets, 123-113, on Wednesday in Denver (Thursday, Manila time) for their third straight win.

The Wizards built a 90-66 lead in the third, enough to survive a rally by the Nuggets and notch their 39th win in 63 games.

Bradley Beal scored 23 on 9 of 15 shooting, while Otto Porter went 10 for 15 and wound up with 22 points for Washington.

The Nuggets went on a 16-5 run in the third and got to within 12 but could not sustain it and absorbed their 35th loss in 64 outings.

Gary Harris scored 26 on 10 of 15 shooting, Wilson Chandler came up with 21 points and Mason Plumlee had 19 points and 10 rebounds.
