LISTED as questionable due to the flu, Joel Embiid got the start and powered the Sixers to a 94-89 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday in Philadelphia (Thursday, Manila time).

It was the second straight win for the Sixers, who earlier won at Milwaukee.

Embiid had 26 points on 6 of 13 shooting and was a rebounds short of a double-double, while three other Sixers scored in double figures.

The Sixers notched their 14th win in 40 outings, and seventh in 10 games this year.

Ersan Ilyasova went 7 for 14 and wound up with 18 points, while Robert Covington and TJ McConnell had 10 points each.

The Raptors saw their win streak end at four, even as DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry again came up with solid performances.

DeRozan had 25 points on 11 of 21 shooting, while Kyle Lowry scored 24, making 5 of 13 field goal attempts.
