ERIC Gordon hit seven 3-pointers and James Harden made six as the Rockets hit a season-high 24 triples in a 122-100 rout of the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday in Houston (Saturday, Manila time).

Harden stretched his triple-double streak to six, scoring 29 points, issuing 13 assists and pulling down 11 rebounds for Houston.

Gordon also had 29 points, making 10 of 17 field goal attempts including 12 tries from beyond the arc as the Rockets extended their winning run to nine.

Trevor Ariza made five treys and wound up with 20 points, while Patrick Beverley made three from downtown for Houston, which has won 20 of 27 games.

The Pelicans absorbed their 19th loss in 28 outings.

Anthony Davis scored 19 points and Terrence Jones came off the bench to deliver 16 points for New Orleans.
