James Harden, Eric Gordon show way as Rockets keep win run going with slim win over Nets

THE Rockets made it seven straight wins, beating the Brooklyn Nets, 122-118, on Monday in Houston (Tuesday, Manila time).

Eric Gordon split his free throws off a Sean Kilpatrick foul, giving the Rockets a 120-118 lead, and made two more shots from the stripe off a Brook Lopez foul for the final count.

James Harden scored 36 points, dished out 11 assists and was two rebounds short of a triple double.

The Rockets recorded their 18th win in 25 games, with Gordon coming off the bench to play 29 minutes and deliver 24 points.

Ryan Anderson scored 19 on 6 of 11 shooting, while Nene added 12 points.

The Nets  absorbed their second  straight loss and 17th in 23 outings.

Brook Lopez scored 26 points and Kilpatrick added 17 for Brooklyn.
