JAMES Harden had his third triple double of the season as the Houston Rockets dominated the Portland Trailblazers, 126-109, on Thursday (Friday, Manila time).

Harden was on fire, finishing with 26 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds for the Rockets who had all starters score in double figures and eight players score more than nine points for their seventh win in 12 games.

The Rockets started the game strong with a 41-point explosion in the first quarter before the Blazers countered in the second period to tie the game 62-all at the half.

The Rockets outscored the Blazers in the third 38-21 while shooting at a 65 percent clip to put the game out of reach.

Trevor Ariza and Eric Gordon both had 16 points for the Rockets. Clint Capela added 15 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.   

C.J. McCollum led Portland with 26 points. Maurice Harkless sank 3-of-4 triples on the way to 19 points while Damian Lillard scored 18. The Trailblazers, who are currently on a five-game road trip, have lost their last two matches.
