Heat win run now at 10 as Hassan Whiteside has 30-20 performance in rout of struggling Sixers

HASSAN Whiteside scored 30 points and grabbed 20 rebounds as the Heat extended their win streak to 10 with a 125-102 rout of the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday in Miami (Sunday, Manila time).

Whiteside matched the Sixers’ total team output of 17 points in the first quarter as the Heat scored 32 and never let up. He sat out the fourth as the Heat cruised to their 21st win in 51 outings.

Goran Dragic scored 16 on 6 of 11 shooting and issued eight assists, while Tyler Johnson also had 16 points, making 5 of 9 field goal attempts.

The Sixers, still without Joel Embiid who is nursing a sore left knee, absorbed their third straight loss and 32nd in 50 games.

Ersan Ilyasova came up with 21 points on 7 of 15 shooting, while Gerald Henderson and Richaun Holmes scored 12 each for Philadelphia.
