Gordon Hayward, Rudy Gobert show way as Jazz send Bucks to fourth straight loss

RUDY Gobert had 26 points and 15 rebounds, Gordon Hayward scored 27 points, to lead the Utah Jazz in a 104-88 win over the slumping Miwaukee Bucks on Wednesday in Salt Lake City (Thursday, Manila time).

Utah blew the game wide open in the second quarter, sparked by a basket by Boris Diaw and a 3-pointer from Joe Johnson in a 19-6 run and was up 61-43 at halftime.

Gobert scored 15 of the Jazz's 31 points in the second.

Utah led by as many as 25 points in its eighth win in its 10 games as it threatens to overtake the Los Angeles Clippers for fourth place in the Western Conference.

Milwaukee managed to lead by two in the first quarter but was never a threat after that. The team has struggled in the last 11 games, only managing to win two in that span.

Jabari Parker had 17 points and 7 rebounds for the Bucks. Reserves Greg Monroe scored 13 while Malcolm Brogdon added 10. Thon Maker added 10. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a poor shooting night (2/10 field goals) and finished with 9 points and six rebounds.
