GORDON Hayward is expected to miss six weeks after dislocating his finger during practice on Friday (Saturday, Manila time).

The Utah Jazz forward dislocated his finger after he reportedly snagged his left hand on a teammate's jersey, according to ESPN.com.

The team's medical staff is evaluating the extent of the injury and reports say surgery is likely needed on the 26-year old rising star.

Hayward posted a career-high 19.7 points per outing last season.
