THE Heat ended a five-game skid, defeating the Washington Wizards, 112-101, behind a season-high 34 points by Goran Dragic on Monday in Miami (Tuesday, Manila time).

Dragic made 14 of 23 field goal attempts as the Heat notched only their eighth win in 25 games.

Hassan Whiteside came up with 17 points and 16 rebounds, while James Johnson came off the bench to play 30 minutes and deliver 14 points.

The Wizards saw their two-game win streak snapped, even as John Wall scored 30 and dished out eight assists.

Bradley Beal had 29 points on 11 of 20 shooting for Washington, which suffered its 14th loss in 23 outings.
