Giannis Antetokounmpo scores career-high 39 as Bucks rip Wizards

GIANNIS Antetokounmpo had a career-high 39 points and Jabari Parker scored 21 points as the Milwaukee Bucks halted a two-game slump with a 123-96 blowout against the Washington Wizards on Friday (Saturday, Manila time).

“The Greek Freak” was 12 for 19 from the field and also finished with eight rebounds, six assists and two steals, leading the crowd to chant "M-V-P!" for the versatile 6-11 forward.

Milwaukee also got solid efforts from its reserves with Malcolm Brogdon making all seven of his shots for 17 points and Greg Monroe finishing with 12 markers with 11 boards. The Bucks bench outscored the Wizards 42-28    

The Bucks outscored the Wizards in every quarter to get back to .500 at 14-14.

John Wall had 18 points and 10 assists for Washington.

Otto Porter Jr. also scored 18 points.
