ERIC Gordon edged Kyrie Irving in a tie-breaking final round to win the 2017 Three-Point Contest on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).

The Houston gunner came up with 21 points after former champion Irving of the Cavaliers scored 18 in the NBA All Star Weekend event.

Gordon hit 25 in the opening round and his 20 in the final tied Irving, leading to the tiebreaking round.

Last year’s winner Klay Thompson had 18 points in the first round, while Charlotte’s Kemba Walker scored 19.
