Jimmy Butler triple-double powers Bulls to victory over LeBron-less Cavaliers

THE Chicago Bulls came up with a strong third quarter and cruised to a 117-99 victory over the Cavaliers on Saturday in Cleveland (Sunday, Manila time).

Jimmy Butler showed the way with 18 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds as the Bulls made it three straight wins.

Dwyane Wade came up with a huge double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds as Chicago notched its 30th win in 59 outings.

The Cavaliers saw their win streak end at four even as Kyrie Irving came up with huge game.

Irving scored 34 points on 13 of 25 shooting for the Cavaliers, who absorbed their 17th loss in 57 games.

LeBron James missed the game with an illness. It was only the fourth time this season that James did not see action.

Channing Frye was the only other Cleveland starter to score in double figures with 11.

Kyle Korver and James Jones scored 14 points each for the Cavaliers.
