Wade, Butler lead way as Bulls send Heat to fifth straight loss

JIMMY Butler scored 31 points and Dwyane Wade added 28 points as the Bulls won 105-100 on Saturday in Chicago (Sunday, Manila time) to send the slumping Miami Heat to their fifth straight loss.

Butler scored Chicago’s last 10 points, while Wade had three rebounds, three assists and two blocks against his former team.

The Heat took a 97-96 lead after a three-pointer from Tyler Johnson with 4:20 left in the last period. But Butler pushed the Bulls back on top 101-96.

Butler later made a crucial steal and was fouled, sinking both free throws to seal the Bulls’ 13th win in 23 games.

Goran Dragic had 21 points and 11 assists for the struggling Heat (7-17).

Hassan Whiteside added 20 points and 8 rebounds after being benched in last Friday’s loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
