Cavaliers stretch streak to seven with squeaker over Hornets

THE Cavaliers stretched their sin streak to seven, edging the Charlotte Hornets, 100-99, on Friday in Cleveland (Saturday, Manila time).

LeBron James posted a triple double, scoring 22, pulling down 14 rebonuds and making 13 assists, as the Cavaliers improved to 12-7.

JR Smith scored 15, while Kyle Korver came off the bench to deliver 13 points.

The Hornets had a balanced offense, with six scoring in double figures, but still saw their win streak snapped at three.

Dwight Howard had 20 points and 13 rebounds, Marvin Williams scored 17 and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 16 for Charlotte, which absorbed its 10th loss in 18 outings.
