Draymond Green finally wins NBA Defensive Player of the Year award

DRAYMOND Green was named 2017 NBA Defensive Player of The Year award in the NBA Awards Show in Monday in New York (Tuesday, Manila time).

Twice a runner-up to Kawhi Leonard, Warriors star forward Green now lifts the title, picked over the Spurs forward and the Utah Jazz'ds Rudy Gobert. 

Green came up with the lowest scoring performance in the past three seasons but was huge on defense.

The 27-year-old Green played in 76 games, averaging 10.2 points and 7.9 rebounds.
