DIRK Nowitzki continued his offensive resurgence as the Mavericks fought back from a double-digit deficit to defeat the Wizards, 112-107, on Wednesday in Washington (Thursday, Manila time).

Behind 68-79 late in the third, the Mavericks rallied to snap a two-game skid and recorded their 29th win in 67 outings.

Nowitzki averaged 20 points in the two losses.

Nowitzki scored 10 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, hitting a jumper off a Seth Curry assist to put the Mavericks ahead 89-87 with seven minutes to play.

Harrison Barnes came up with 22 points, while Seth Curry scored 11.

The Wizards absorbed their second straight loss and 26th in 67 games.

John Wall scored 26 on 10 of 20 shooting and made 11 assists, while Bradley Beal had 24 points, making 9 of 20 field goal attempts.

Otto Porter had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
