Derrick Rose hits the big endgame baskets as Knicks down Blazers for fifth straight home win

THE New York Knicks scored their fifth straight home game, downing the Portland Trail Blazers, 107-103, on Tuesday as Madison Square Garden (Wednesday, Manila time).

Kristaps Porzingis scored 31 points as the Knicks notched their seventh win in 14 games.

Carmelo Anthony had 17 points before going scoreless in the fourth, but Derrick Rose had six of his 18 points in the final stretch.

Rose hit a jumper with a little over three minutes to play to give the Knicks the lead and sank another one with six seconds left to seal the win.

The Knicks ended a run of futility at home against the Blazers, who had won four straight at MSG.  

The Blazers suffered their fifth road loss and eight overall in 16 games.

Damian Lillard had 22 points and CJ McCollum added 16 for Portland, whch led by fie after the first quarter before the Knicks fought back to take control.
