Seth Curry catches fire late to cap Mavs comeback and arrest Heat's three-game win run

SETH Curry sparked a late game surge to lead the Dallas Mavericks comeback win over the Miami Heat, 96-89, at the American Airlines Center on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time).

After trailing by as much as 14 early on, the Mavericks stormed back in the middle quarters to take a nine-point lead into the final frame. But the Heat went on a 20-6 tear to start the fourth period and take the driver’s seat, 89-84, with 4:39 to play.

Curry then got going with six straight points that fired off a 12-0 finish by the Mavs to complete the comeback and win their second straight game to improve to 24-35.

The Mavs were led in scoring by Curry who had 29 points. Only Harrison Barnes was the other Dallas player in double figures with 24 markers.

Goran Dragic had 24 points to lead Miami, who had their three-game win streak snapped and fell to 27-33. Hassan Whiteside finished with a double-double of 19 markers and the same number of rebounds. Dion Waiters added 12.
