Blazers halt four-game slide with overtime victory over Celtics

THE Portland Trail Blazers ended a four-game skid with a 127-123 overtime victory over the Celtics on Saturday in Boston (Sunday, Manila time).

CJ McCollum scored 35 points in 46 minutes of action, while Damian Lillard came up with 28 points as the Blazers notched their 19th win in 46 outings.

Meyers Leonard came off the bench to deliver 17 points for Portland.

The Celtics absorbed their second straight loss and 17th in 43 games.

Isaiah Thomas scored 41 points, with 21 coming in the fourth.

Al Horford had 17 points on 6 of 13 shooting, while Marcus Smart matched the output by making 5 of 15 field goal attempts.
