ROOKIE Bryan Forbes showed the way as the Spurs defeated the Houston Rockets, 114-99, on Friday in San Antonio (Saturday, Manila time).

Forbes, undrafted from the 2016 pool, came up with 19 points on 7 of 11 shooting as the Spurs scored their fourth victory in six preseason games.

Kawhi Leonard added 15 points and Davis Bertans scored 14 for the Spurs, who bounced back from a loss to Miami.

Bobby Brown led Houston with 23 points, making eight of 20 field goal attempts.

Nene added 15 points for the Rockets, who suffered only their second loss in six outings.
