John Wall triple in dying moments lifts Wizards to victory, forcing Game Seven against Celtics

JOHN Wall hit a three-pointer with 3.5 seconds left to lift the Wizards to a 92-91 victory over the Boston Celtics on Friday in Washington (Saturday, Manila time) to force a decider in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

The Wizards wasted a big early lead and saw themselves behind by five in the dying moments but fought back to force a Game Seven.

Bradley Beal and John Wall showed the way anew for the Wizards, who took a double-digit lead in the second only to allow the Celtics to get back.

Beal scored 33 on 15 of 26 shooting, while Wall went 9 for 25 and wound up with 26 points.

Markieff Morris came up with a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds for the No. 4 Wizards.

Game Seven is set on Monday in Boston, as the Celtics and Wizards continue to battle it out while the thee other semifinals have been completed.

It will be the No. 2 Spurs against top seed Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, while the titleholders Cleveland Cavaliers have earlier claimed the first spot in the Eastern Conference Finals with a sweep of No. 3 Toronto Raptors.

Isiah Thomas made eight of 24 field goal attempts and wound up with 27 points, which was matched by Avery Bradley, who went 10 for 18.

Al Horford had 20 points, while Jae Crowder added 10.
