Bradley Beal takes charge as Wizards down Kings and spoil DeMarcus Cousins’ 36-point night

BRADLEY Beal Beal hit a huge three-pointer to give Washington control in overtime and the Wizards held on for a 101-95 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time).

Markieff Morris set up Beal for the triple that made it 97-92 under two minutes to play and the Wizards went on to win their sixth win in 16 games.

Beal finished with 31 points, John Wall added 19 and Otto Porter scored 15 as the Wizards bounced back from a loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

The Kings absorbed their 11th loss in 18 outings, even as DeMarcus Cousins came up with another huge game with 36 points and 20 rebounds.

Rudy Gay scored 18 points and Ty Lawson was the only other Sacramento player to score in double figures, delivering 12 points on 5 of 9 shooting.
