Wizards take control early and send Celtics to third straight loss

JOHN Wall and Bradley Beal showed the way as usual and the Wizards defeated the Boston Celtics, 123-108, on Tuesday in Washington (Wednesday, Manila time).

The Wizards took control early and cruised to victory, their second straight and 25th win 45 outings.

Beal scored 31 points on 12 of 18 shooting, while Wall came up with 27 points, making 11 of 20 field goal attempts.

Markieff Morris had a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Marcin Gortat added 16 points.

The Celtics absorbed their third straight loss and 18th in 44 games.

Isaiah Thomas had 25 points on 7 f 19 shooting, while Al Horford went 9 for 12 and wound up with 22 points.HOrforf
