League-leading Clippers down Timberwolves to stay unbeaten on the road

THE Los Angeles Clippers stretched their win streak to six games with a 119-105 victory over the lowly Timberwolves on Saturday in Minnesota (Sunday, Manila time).

Blake Griffin scored 20 points and 11 rebound and DeAndre Jordan also had a double-double with 18 and 16 as the Clippers recorded their NBA-best ninth victory in 10 games.

Chris Paul had 19 points and JJ Redick added 18 as the Clippers stayed unbeaten in five games on the road.

The Timberwolves suffered their sixth loss in eight games even with a solid game from Karl-Anthony Towns and the return of Ricky Rubio.

Towns had 24 points and hauled down 10 rebounds and Andrew Wiggins scored 22.

Rubio, back akfter missing five games due to a sprained right elbow, came up with seven points, six rebounds and six assists for the Timberwolves.

The Clippers stake their win run against the Nets, while the Timberwolves next take on the Los Angeles Lakers.
