Clippers make it back-to-back wins with squeaker over Grizzlies

THE Clippers held the Grizzlies scoreless in a four-minute stretch in the third to erase a double-digit lead on the way to a 115-106 victory on Wednesday in Los Angeles (Thursday, Manila time).

The Grizzlies led by 12 early in the third but went silent as the Clippers fought back and an Austin Rivers triple put the home team ahead, 77-75, with over three minutes left to play.

Vince Carter tied it again, but DeAndre Jordan scored on a dunk, completed the three-point play off a Troy Daniels, and the Clippers never relinquished the lead.

The Clippers, coming off a victory over the Phoenix Suns, got a wn run going after a six-game skid.

Austin Rivers scored 28 points as the Clippers notched their 24th win in 38 outings.

Jordan finished with 18 points and 20 rebounds, Jamal Crawford had 22 points and JJ Redick scored 19 for the Clippers.

The Grizzlies absorbed their second straight loss and 16th in 38 games.

Marc Gasol came up with 23 points, while Mike Conley had a doble-double of 17 points and 12 assists.
