Austin Rivers shines as Clippers down Hayward-less Jazz

AUSTIN Rivers showed the way as the Clippers ripped the Utah Jazz, 88-75, on Sunday in Los Angeles (Monday, Manila time).

Rivers came off the bench to play 29 minutes and score 19 points as the Clippers notched their second win in as many games.

Blake Griffin came up with 18 points on 7 of 14 shooting, while Jamal Crawford chipped in with 12 points.

The Jazz were still without Gordon Hayward, out with a broken finger on his left hand, and they suffered their second loss in three games.

George Hill led the Jazz, scoring 18 points on 8 of 13 shooting, while Dante Exum had 10 points.
