THE Los Angeles Clippers overcame a third-quarter surge by the Magic, playing steady in the fourth for a 113-108 win on Wednesday in Orlando (Thursday, Manila time).

Austin Rivers scored 25, hitting seven triples, while Blake Griffin had 23 points as the Clippers extended their win streak to three.

Rivers sustained a mild concussion during the Clippers’ victory over the New Orleans Pelicans four days ago.

DeAndre Jordan had a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds for the Clippers, who saw their nine point lead vanish in the third but sealed the win with a string endgame.

All Clippers starters had double-digit scores, with Chris Paul scoring 16 and JJ Redick chipping in with 10 as they notched their 19th win in 26 games.

The Magic suffered their 16th loss in 27 games, even as Aaron Gordon came up with a huge game with 33 points.

Evan Fournier had 24 points, while Jeff Green came off the bench to score 19.
