Magic use huge third quarter to take win and send Sixers to fifth straight loss

THE Orlando Magic used a huge third quarter to rout the Sixers, 105-88, on Friday in Philadelphia (Saturday, Manila time).

Aaron Gordon led the way as the Magic outplayed the Sixers, 32-19, in the third en route to their eighth win in 20 games.

Serge Ibaka and Evan Fournier had 16 points apiece as the Magic bounced back from loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Jeff Green came off the bench to also score 16 as Orlando, which next plays at Detroit.

The Sixers absorbed their fifth straight loss, even as Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor posted double-doubles.

Embiid came up with 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Okafor had 16 and 13.

Philadelphia has lost 15 of 19 games.
