Nerlens Noel shines for Joel Embiid-less Sixers in upset of Clippers

NERLENS Noel led the way for a 76ers squad that was without Joel Embiid, scoring 19 in a 121-110 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday in Philadelphia (Wednesday, Manila time).

Richaun Holmes also shone for the Sixers, delivering 18 points off the bench.

The Sixers, without Embiid who has a left knee contusion, got back on track after a loss to the Atlanta Hawks, notching their 16th win in 43 games.

Dario Saric came up with 16 points on 4 of 10 shooting, while Robert Covington added 14.

The Clippers absorbed their 17th loss in 47 outings.

Jamal Crawford came off the bench to lead the Clippers in scoring, making 9 of 14 field goal attempts and finishing with 27 points.

JJ Redick scored 22 and Austin Rivers had 20 points.
