NEW YORK — Mikal Bridges hit six 3-pointers and scored 23 points to help, Harry Giles III had 16 points and 10 rebounds and the Brooklyn Nets beat Maccabi Ra'anana of Israel 135-103 on Thursday night (Friday, Manila time) in preseason play.

Dwayne Bacon and Quinndary Weatherspoon each scored 17 points for Ra'anana, with team members deciding to play the game despite war at home. Bacon played at Florida State and Weathers at Mississippi State.

Spencer Dinwiddie added 15 points for the Nets.

BULLS 133, NUGGETS 124, 2 OT

DeMar DeRozan scored 19 points and Zach LaVine had 17 as Chicago outlasted defending champion Denver.

Denver's Braxton Key forced overtime with an alley-oop layup over two defenders off an inbounds pass from Hunter Tyson.

Nikola Jokic scored 17 points for visiting Denver. Rookie Julian Strawther had 16.

PISTONS 128, THUNDER 125

In Montreal, James Weisman made all eight of his shot attempts and had 20 points and 10 rebounds to help Detroit beat Oklahoma City.

Cason Wallace missed a 3-pointer with 3.1 seconds left in an attempt to tie it.

Hometown favorite Luguentz Dort led Oklahoma City with 24 points.

SUNS 122, TRAIL BLAZERS 111

Eric Gordon scored 20 points on 8-for-10 shooting in 18 minutes, Devin Booker had 17 points and visiting Phoenix beat Portland in a matchup that featured two of three teams in a recent blockbuster trade.

Phoenix center Jusuf Nurkic scored 17 points against his former team, besting former Suns center DeAndre Ayton, who had seven points. Kevin Durant added 16 points for Phoenix.

Scoot Henderson led Portland with 22 points.

ROCKETS 120, PELICANS 87

In Birmingham, Alabama, Jabari Smith Jr. scored 22 points and Jalen Green and Amen Thompson each had 12 in Houston's victory over New Orleans.

CJ McCollum scored 17 points for New Orleans. Zion Williamson had four points, shooting 2 of 3 in 22 minutes.

MAGIC 108, CAVALIERS 105

Franz Wagner scored 18 points and Orlando held off Cleveland, which scored the final 12 points.

Moritz Wagner scored 14 points off the bench for the visiting Magic and Markelle Fultz had 13. The trio shot a combined 15 of 20.

Darius Garland scored 19 points for Cleveland.

HAWKS 103, GRIZZLIES 102

Trae Young scored 20 points and Jalen Johnson had 14 on 6-of-7 shooting to help Atlanta beat visiting Memphis.

GG Jackson scored 24 points for Memphis, which missed its last three shots to end it.
