THE NBA continues its aggressive expansion in the Philippines, considered as one of the top two most rabid basketball countries in the world alongside Lithuania.
To cement this global footprint and bridge the gap between continents, the league brought its signature brand of basketball and entertainment directly to Manila through the NBA House Philippines 2026, presented by Gatorade.
Held at SPACE at One Ayala recently, the two-day immersive fan experience featured a heavy-hitting roster of basketball icons, headlined by four-time NBA champion Tony Parker, alongside Jason Kidd and Lauren Jackson.
One of the weekend's absolute highlights was Parker's personal visit to the ArenaPlus booth, where the San Antonio Spurs legend met with the team and actively took on the basketball arcade and shooting challenge.
The French point guard brought an elite résumé to the floor, boasting four NBA championships, a 2007 NBA Finals MVP award, and a 2023 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame induction.
"ArenaPlus is proud to be part of NBA House Philippines and thrilled to give fans an experience that brings them closer to the game they love," stated Ethan William, Head of ArenaPlus.
"Having a legend like Tony Parker visit our activation makes it even more special," William added. "We're excited to welcome fans, let them enjoy the activities we've prepared, and celebrate our partnership with the NBA together."
As the league broadens its local horizons, official ecosystem partners play a crucial role in translating the global game into a tangible, interactive experience for the local audience.
ArenaPlus, serving as the NBA's Official Betting Partner in the Philippines, perfectly amplified this expansion by hosting various basketball-themed activities throughout the weekend to test fans' skills and knowledge.
Beyond the star-studded appearances, the event celebrated the game's culture from every angle.
As part of the programming, ArenaPlus facilitated engaging on-court trivia contests, putting more than just bragging rights at stake as daily winners took home exclusive prizes.
The immersive NBA House also featured a massive memorabilia display highlighting the coveted Larry O'Brien Trophy, autographed jerseys and basketballs, skills challenges, photo installations, merchandise giveaways, and a dedicated game zone featuring NBA 2K27.
Showcasing the league's growing broader ecosystem, fans were also treated to regular-season WNBA viewing parties, watching the Washington Mystics take on the Los Angeles Sparks on August 29, followed by the Toronto Tempo against the Phoenix Mercury on August 30.
For the everyday Filipino basketball fan, this continuous local expansion by the NBA offered a rare opportunity to experience the league far beyond the screen.
And for those who visited the ArenaPlus booth, it provided an unforgettable chance to share the floor with an absolute NBA legend in a uniquely interactive way.
