MYLES Turner came up huge in his first game in the NBA Bubble as the Indiana Pacers overcame a strong start by the Dallas Mavericks to score a 118-111 in a tuneup game on Sunday in Florida (Monday, Manila time).

The 24-year-old forward, who sat out the first scrimmage against the Portland Trail Blazers due to a calf bruise, scored 15 points as the Pacers made it two wins in as many tuneup matches.

T.J. Warren came up with 20 points and Malcolm Brogdon chipped in with 17.

Victor Oladipo hit three triples in a quick Pacers rally in the second and wound up with 16 points. He was 4 for 8 from beyond the arc.

The Mavericks were in control early, scoring 37 in the first period, but the Pacers seized the lead in the third and managed to extend it to double digits.

Luka Doncic had a near triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists for Dallas.

The Pacers next face the San Antonio Spurs before their first official game of the NBA restart against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

Dallas next takes on Philadelphia before battling the Houston Rockets on Friday in their first match in the seeding games.
