ZACH Lavine waxed hot from the outside, scoring 37 points, as the Minnesota Timberwolves won its first road game at the expense of the Orlando Magic, 123-107, on Wednesday (Thursday, Manila time)
Six other Wolves scored in double figures. Andrew Wiggins had 29 points, while Karl Anthony-Towns added 20 and 11 rebounds for Minnesota who weathered a Magic run in the third quarter before recovering in the last quarter.
The young Wolves made nine of 13 three pointers in the first half for a 74-51 lead against the Magic.
Nikola Vucevic had 24 points and 14 rebounds while Elfrid Payton finished with 18 points seven assists for the Magic who are now 2-2 at home for a 3-5 record.
