THE Grizzlies rode a huge second quarter to a 99-90 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday in Memphis (Saturday, Manila time).
Mike Conley showed the way for the Grizzlies, who overpowered the Mavericks 34-15 in the second quarter and cruised to their second straight win.
Memphis notched its 42nd win in 75 games.
Conley was the only Memphis starter to score in double figures, delivering 28 points on 8 of 15 shooting.
Zach Randolph had 22 points, while fellow reserve Troy Daniels scored 21.
The Mavericks suffered their fourth straight loss.
Wes Matthews, Dirk Nowitzki and reserve JJ Barea had 13 points each for Dallas.
Seth Curry added 12 points for the Mavericks, who absorbed their 44th loss in 75 games.
