TESTS on Michael Porter Jr.’s hip showed no problem, according to reports, after the former Missouri standout cancelled his workout in Chicago because of a strained hip.
The MRI was done after Porter suffered hip spasms and his pro day workout had to be cancelled.
Porter holds his workouts at Chicago, where his agency is based.
The Bulls have the seventh pick, while also said to be interested in the former Missouri small forward are the Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies, Nos. 2 and 3 in the draft, respectively.
Deandre Ayton is expected to be picked first overall by the Phoenix Suns.
Porter underwent back surgery in his first and only collegiate season, but has said “There’s no risk to reinjure it.’’
