JIMMY Butler is finally leaving Miami.
And the Bay Area can't be any happier.
The Miami Heat have reached a deal to ship their unhappy star and the destination is Golden State, where Steph Curry and Dreymond Green are waiting for one final piece which they hope can revive the Warriors' fading title hopes.
ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Thursday that the Heat are sending Butler to the Bay Area for longtime Warriors standout Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round draft pick.

ESPN later reported that Butler has agreed to a fresh two-year, $121 million extension with the Warriors that will bind him with the franchise through the 2026-27 season.
The trade sends Butler to his fifth team - his departures all acrimonious. This one is no different as the clutch scorer was suspended three times last month by the Heat amid a very public spat that eventually led to the parting of ways.

Butler was the star of two Heat teams that reached the NBA Finals twice, but his relationship with the Miami front office, especially with president Pat Riley, deteriorated over time after last season's first-round exit.
Controversies isn't Butler's alone.
Schroder also attracted controversy in his very brief time at Golden State. He ended up in the package bound for Miami with Wiggins, who has struggled with injuries and personal issues that kept him from playing at his best with the Dubs.
