Miami snaps six-game slump with furious fourth quarter run to zoom past Milwaukee

DION Waiters had 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists to lead the Miami Heat in snapping a six-game slump by beating the visiting Milwaukee Bucks, 96-73, on Thursday (Friday, Manila time).

Waiters went for 10-22 from the field as the Heat limited the Bucks to just 11 points in the last quarter, four in the final nine minutes, while scoring 29. The win was Miami’s third in 11 matches.

Hassan Whiteside was a force down low, finishing with 12 points, 17 rebounds and seven blocks. Josh Richardson added 18 points, Goran Dragic chipped in 16 markers.

It was the second straight loss for the Bucks who were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Tony Snell with 14 points apiece. Former Heat second overall pick Michael Beasley had 13 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Milwaukee is 1-5 on the road.
