THE Miami Heat have guaranteed Hassan Whiteside’s $981,348 salary for coming season, instead of staggered guarantee dates.
The contract for the Miami starting center has been adjusted, according to Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel.
Whiteside had been guaranteed 25 percent of the amount at the start of this month, to be guaranteed half of the total on opening night and full guarantee if still on roster on December 1.
Thirteen Heat players are now fully guaranteed for the season, including Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, Goran Dragic, Luol Deng, Josh McRoberts, Chris Andersen, and Justise Winslow.
