MEMPHIS bucked a slow start to take down Minnesota, 102-98, on Wednesday (Thursday, Manila time) at the Fedex Forum.

Mike Conley and Marc Gasol led a late rally to claw back from a 4-point deficit in the last 2:44 mark of the game.

Minnesota raced to a 59-50 lead at the half, before Memphis stormed back in the third quarter to wrest the advantage heading into the fourth period.

But the Timberwolves went on to take a 90-86 lead with less than three minutes left, before Conley and Gasol started a 5-0 run to again bring the Grizzlies back up by one. Karl-Anthony Towns swished a triple on the next play but the Grizzlies sealed the win with an 11-5 run.

Conley had 24 points and Gasol added 18, while Zach Randolph contributed 19 markers and 11 boards off the bench for the Grizzlies.

Andrew Wiggins led Minnesota with 25 points and Towns had 21, while Zach Levine added 19 markers.
