Hornets halt four-game slide as Hawks home woes continue

THE Charlotte Hornets ended a four-game slide, beating the Hawks, 107-99, on Saturday in Atlanta (Sunday, Manila time).

Marco Belinelli came off the bench to score 19 points on 8 of 11 shooting, while starting forward Marvin Williams matched the output, making seven of 10 field goal attempts.

Kemba Walker scored 18 and Cody Zeller had 16 points as the Hornets recorded their 15th victory in 28 games.

The Hawks absorbed their 14th loss in 27 outings.

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 21 points, while Paul Millsap added 20 for Atlanta, which has lost five of the last six home games.

Reserve Kent Bazemore delivered 17 points in 30 minutes of action for the Hawks, who next face the Oklahoma City Thunder.
